The next local council general election will be held on Saturday 24 October 2020.
The Committee for Mornington Peninsula wants to understand local issues that are important to the community leading up to the election of a new council.
Are you aware that the federal government has made a commitment of $225 million to duplicate and electrify 8km of the Stony Point Rail Line from Frankston to Baxter with a park and ride facility?
Do you support the electrification of the Stony Point Rail Line from Frankston to Baxter?
Would you support the electrification to Hastings?
Did you realise the Mornington Peninsula Shire is designated as ‘Metropolitan Melbourne’ by the State Government?
Would you support a push for the Mornington Peninsula Shire to be designated as ‘Regional’ to realise such benefits of lower land tax and living-away-from-home study allowance for our younger generation?
